2010  Art Exhibition at St. Lawrence Church, Mereworth, Kent  St. Lawrence's is an Italianate church and has recently been awarded the Best Restored Georgian Church. The congregation celebrated the completion of the work by having an exhibition of artists' work, 30th April to 3rd May 2010.

Names and Faces' : The Sevenoaks Series
The Sevenoaks Series comprises separate oil paintings of prominent Sevenoaks personalities, which together add up to a portrait of the local community.  The idea is to celebrate the strong and lively independent identity of the town through images of some of its most dynamic personalities.

The first 16 paintings in the series were exhibitied under the title 'Names and Faces' : The Sevenoaks Series.  This was the inaugural show at the brand new gallery space at The Sevenoaks Chronicle offices on Sevenoaks High Street, which ran from 17th November until the end of December 2005.
The series is now being extended with larger scale portraits of Cllr Robert Piper, the Mayor of Sevenoaks; Sylvia Denton FRCN, CBE, the current President of the Royal College of Nursing; and Andrew Wells, the High Sheriff of Kent.
